We went to Stuttgarter Platz in Charlottenburg. It is right at the entrance/exit of the Charlottenburg train station. Clearly visible is a big yellow apartment block. In the years 1967-1968 the Kommune 1 lived on the third floor. The picture below gives an impression of their activities. With this sarg-happening the Kommunards protested against German policy. It also gives an impression of what happened in and around the Kommune. The man at the left, carrying the coffin is Andreas Baader. The person in the middle right, with a cigarette, is Peter Urbach, an informant who was an agent provocateur and the supplier of bombs and weapons. The woman in the right is very probably Ulrike Meinhof.
