Situated in the former East Berlin, but still in the east of Berlin lies the Baumschulenweg cemetery. It’s a place of stories, personal stories that only the close relatives know, but also stories that have entered world history.
We went there to find out about one of the secrets the DDR regime tried to hide from their population, but we discovered so much more. The visit became an excursion.
