Following April 26ths walking tour with Jason Honea, Alles Vergebens continues with a another 2.5-3 hour walking tour visiting sites and places and discussing the events from both April 27-28, 1945 and the ultimate fate of the French Sturmbrigade as well as the 23. and 24. regiments Norge and Danmark as they fought/defended their way through NW Kreuzberg and into the govenment quarter.
Per usual Jason ’ll be adhereing to both archival information as well as unit diaries and other first person sources in reference to these final days of the battle of Berlin. The tour is August 16, 2026 at 12 noon and the meeting point is at the Jerusalem und Neue Kirche cemetery entry on Zossenerstrasse in Kreuzberg.
